Hi Everyone! We are the SBU Ballroom Dance Team. We compete quite a bit in different states across the East coast! We practice every week with our team and our wonderful coach, James!

Coach
James Repetti he/him/his
James began dancing as a child and has competed in and teaches Latin, Rhythm, Standard, and Smooth. In 2015 he became United States National Vice Champion in American Rhythm and has since focused solely on his teaching. His students have gone on to compete professionally, as well as to become national champions in their respective styles and levels (many on this team!)

Hey peeps! I’m Ally and I’m a Clinical Lab Science major going into my senior year! I’ve been on the team since freshman year and I’ve been on the eboard for a couple years! I love ballroom but it isn’t the only thing I enjoy, in my free time I love drawing, painting, playing video games, boxing, and cooking! I spend part of my time working on my small biz and food insta! I’ve also always loved helping and supporting the team so I’m so happy I get to be this years President!! Can’t wait for an amazing year for our team! 🕺🏻🫶🎉

G’day!!!
I’m Ryan and I am a senior majoring in Physics! I’ve been on the team for almost 3 years and I’ve loved becoming friends with everyone on the team. I’ve most of all enjoyed having the best dance partner on the team, Ally! I really enjoy dancing latin/rhythm and I love being apart of our team. In my free time, I enjoy playing Pokemon, listening to Kpop, and being apart of Flow and Animated Perspectives on campus as well! I can't wait for another amazing year!

Hi friends! I’m India and I’m very excited to be your treasuer this year and continuing to be a PR specalist! Now that I’m a junior, I’ve changed my major to social work with hopes to continue in higher education. My hobbies are photography, graphic design, running, and watching K-dramas! My favorite dances are propably tango, waltz, rumba, and swing. I can’t wait to have such a fun year with everyone and dance it up!

Hi, I’m Charlotte and I’m the new dance captain! I’m am a junior studying business management and have been on the dance team since I got to Stony. I love dance and have been dancing since I was in elementary. I also love cats and currently have three cats and three dogs .

Mandy Wong she/her
Salutations! My name is Mandee and I am currently a junior majoring in Business and psychology. Ballroom dancing has played a significant role in my life for a substantial portion of it (over ten years!). I also have a love for animals, enjoy anything Marvel-related, have a knack for nail and henna art, and appreciate any and all forms of music! Whenever I get the chance, I love taking myself out on cafe and picnic dates (with a good book of course) and walking/exploring all of New York City. I am so excited to be a part of this team for another year and meet all the new members!

Hey guys Its Dino, your PR specialist! I'm currently a Junior doing a Bio major on the premed track (thinking of switching to biochem?!). Some of my hobbies include going to the gym, skateboarding, and practicing how to do latin hips (help). I'm excited to continue to learn and grow though ballroom and be apart of the crew!

Hey there! I’m Victoria and one of the dance captains of this ballroom team! I am a sophomore now (insane!) who is majoring in Health Science and potentially minoring in theatre as those are two fields I am passionate about. Dance is also included in that as I’ve been doing ballroom for over a decade at this point. I can’t wait to work with everybody and help choreograph some performances for this year!
